Mr. Axel Sahovaler
Axel has a unique combination of training and practice in North America, working in very high-volume academic head and neck surgery centers. He has since moved to London, where he has formed a team with Professor Mark McGurk, perfecting minimally invasive techniques in salivary gland surgery.
His independent practice is at London Bridge Hospital and his NHS base is at University College London Hospital where his research and teaching take place.

Mr. Sahovaler works closely with the UCL Head & Neck Academic Centre, where he is involved in clinical research.
He aspires to the advancement of research in head and neck diseases, as seen by the many collaborative efforts and medical publications.
Mr. Shaovaler is currently serving as a consultant in the NHS at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). This is a specialised unit for head and neck disease, providing care to a population of over 3 million in central and east London.
He regularly provides guidance to aspiring surgeons through UCLH’s close relationship with UCL Medical School.
